Mr. Hazel, a Founding Principal and the CFO of Viridian Partners, has over twenty-five years of financial experience in areas of construction and real estate development. His experience in litigation support, contract management, insurance, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, tax, audit and financial modeling support Viridian business and transaction specific pro formas and entity performance projections, as well as internal management and financial reporting needs. His understanding of the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and accounting pronouncements such as FIN 47 have assisted Viridian with corporate sellers’s balance sheet liability disclosures.
Mr. Hazel has been involved with various startups as owner and financial partner for companies, including: CPA firms, commercial and residential real estate development, investment banking, business brokerage, financial planning, software and hardware development, and restaurants. His involvement as an owner or part-owner of these companies in a variety of industries has given Mr. Hazel exceptional breadth of experience.
Mr. Hazel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
